Prairie Restoration Work Days – 2021

The FOPFC Restoration Team is looking for volunteers to help collect prairie plant seeds and pull invasive plant species at Pope Farm Conservancy this year. The collected seed will help to increase the diversity of prairie plant species at PFC and to improve the overall quality of the prairies.

Seed collection is easy to do, and it’s an enjoyable way to spend a couple hours in nature. No experience needed. We will have team leaders on hand to help you. Please bring your own gloves, water, mask or face covering, sunscreen and bug spray. Wear long pants and footwear that protects your feet.
